In addition to attending to clients needs on an individual level, Array Psychological Assessments is committed to improving communities as well. As part of that mission, providing mental health education to the wider audience is a top priority. In service of that goal,  training, lectures, and educational materials are available for corporations, schools, and faith based organizations.

Educational programming

Psychological awareness is crucial at all stages in life. Helping young people understand and appreciate both neuroscience and mental health is significantly important. Dr. Ray has developed several programs throughout the country designed to spark students’ interest in brain science and health. Schools and educators at any level may request Dr. Ray to make educational presentations at your class or school. They may also find resources and local opportunities to increase brain awareness at the Dana Foundation’s website: www.baw.org. Students interested in careers in neuropsychology can find additional information at the Society for Black Neuropsychology at www.SoBlackNeuro.org.

corporate trainings

Companies only work as well as their employees. As corporations have begun to understand how much their success is tied to employee well being, many have made great strides in investing in their physical health. Mental wellness is of equal importance in the holistic health of workers as well. Corporations interested in assessments of their organizational health, leadership dynamics, or assessments and presentations to their staff regarding individual health may submit a request to Dr. Ray. Lectures, workshops, and retreats are among the options available.

In addition to her PhD, Dr. Ray also has a Masters of Divinity and is an ordained pastor. Born from her almost 2 decades of ministerial experience, Dr. Ray has an intimate knowledge about the mental health needs of faith based communities and the unique challenges faced not only by congregants, but clergy as well. She preaches and trains congregations, leaders, and administrators about mental wellness and maintenance. Churches and conferences are welcome to invite her to preach, conduct workshops and trainings, or to assist their organization in structuring a mental health ministry appropriate for their context.
